In the Woods (He lives with forest beauty)

On the way back, I looked at myself in the mirror of chilled clear pond.

The floating lotus took a glance with its tiny eyes,

It showed me how busy I was through the day, literally losing touch with real me.

I rolled my eyes to see a peaceful little home,

I took few more steps, extremely tiered and worn out.

She invited me in with an understanding smile, to the warmth of bonfire.

I checked around to drink something to wet my dried thirsty throat.

She appeared with a peach fruit, served with fresh sweet coconut water.

I felt like a kid playing with shells she picked up from the sea bay,

I was conversing with her on the shores, as bubbly water touched my feet softly.

While the blue waves turned red, saying good bye to its day mate sun.

Moon, the lady of the evening, already started playing its magic.

Suddenly, even without my knowledge I slipped off to a semi conscious sleep.

She took me into her laps, and fanned me with the tiny roses,

Wow! the fresh breeze of leaves is helping her too.

She carefully shifted me to the green grass carpet bed,

And laid few choosy cozy flowery pillows under my head.

But then, I was shivering a little of that chilled wind.

She lit the moon light night lamp brighter, and

Covered me with my favorite blue blanket embroidered with white lace

Especially handmade for me, woven with extreme care.
