One sunny afternoon bored for a while
Shot up to clear the dusty stockpile

Worn out knapsack caught my curious eye
Pulling it down, thought why I let it just lay

Zipped out all that was carefully stored

Elated finding this warm memory treasure
My eyes brimmed, happiness sans measure

Moments go nostalgic flashing images so original
Times captured in pictures & words, sealed as real

With each one, pages from past flipped forth & back
Of glorious moments, they hold a beautiful track

Mom's caring letters with dads short inspiring words
Slam books from gangs of College & naughty school birds

Found dried flowers, leaves between every page
Glitter pens, smiley stickers were such big craze

From early crushes turned loves first blushes
Then serious relations were life's big rushes

Hearty wishes, special secrets, love in abundance
All these came in blue letters & cream covers

those Innocent beautiful days are bygone
Blessed we stay for all the love showered upon
