Some day you were with me in sun and rain

To hold my hand in success and vain,

To pat my shoulder in happiness and pain

There was never a day, you left me alone

Never a time, I felt unimportant and thrown

No moment ever passed, without your caring smile

Never for a second I felt, insecure and bane

Was there a sunrise, without your pampered kiss?

Was there a sunset, without your warm hug?

Was there a moon night, we din’t think, it brought us all the peace on earth

Your soothing words, built my trust only stronger

Our lengthy letters sharing thoughts, assured me more love

Our long walks with clasped hands, ensured better understanding

I felt like a baby, in your touch and care

I sensed like a princess, for you did everything to make me feel so

I believed I was your world, for I saw that in your promising eyes

Today, remembering all these fondly,

I wonder could there be days more beautiful & lovely

I think in a state of complex,  can life be any better

I wonder did I live all this or was it a woven dream

If it’s a dream, I wish it comes true

If its true I pray, its holds the same all through
